Heidelberg - Gate of the Old Bridge
The real name of the Old Bridge is Karl-Theodor-Brücke. It was completed in 1788. The gate represented the only access to the city after having passed the bridge coming from the northern Neckar (river) side. The gate itself is older than the bridge, but was redesigned later.
